Now I am one of them and I started my own game called SPLIT. This blog is documenting about almost every step on the way to a shipping ready product. But why am I doing this?
I was asking myself, what can I do to get the most attention in order to make a living and how can I cange a few things about the current development processes. The answer is curiosity, entertainment and transparency. By sharing my work here and within a Vlog as well, I can simply entertain people being curious of how a game is being created, I can get free feedback and I can even get help by others. Assuming you might be a developer yourself or someone who wants to get started, this format could even help you get started or be inspired.
So all in all it's a win win: you get to see how I create a game, be entertained and at the same time, your feedback will allow me to create a better game for you to experience.
Last thing I have to mention: why is there a donate button and why do my Vlog videos contain advertising, Due to the fact that my capital is very limited and this project is a big risk, I can use any help to at least be able to afford assets and unlock new resources... every cent counts in order to make this project come to life!
